Getting things prepared

Well, we are down to four months!!!! Slowly but surely we have the AMAZING Mrs. Hales getting decorations ready. I am so excited and can't wait to see all the amazing things she is doing.
I am also very excited to get my invitations from the calligrapher!! My nieces are coming up next week to get fitted for the jackets they are going to wear and to hem their dresses!

The next couple of weeks also begins busy season. I won't be seeing much of Nathan until the wedding. I am hoping and praying it makes the time go really fast. I will miss him tons, but next year we will be married and then I can see him everyday!

I am so looking froward to married life. I am mostly looking froward to be with my best friend EVERYDAY!!! 123 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!

As I sit here tonight, thinking, I cannot imagine life getting any better. The other day when I was unloading books to put on the bookshelf in OUR apartment I came across one of my journals from 1999! I have a list in there of things I was looking for in a husband at that time. It is the only list I ever made. There are 40 things on the list, some are retarded but most are perfect.
Here are a few in the order I put them:

  1. Must be saved
  2. Loves the Lord
  3. Wants a big family
  4. Wears glasses
  5. Has to be funny
  6. Loves family time
  7. Knows how to budget money
  8. Is able to sing
  9. Can play the piano
  10. Likes to read
  11. Is at least 6’2
  12. Like Musicals
  13. Date night once a month
  14. Like Romantic Movies
  15. Loves my Avonlea movies
  16. Has good dating standards
  17. Will be happy to just sit and cuddle with me at home
  18. Will treat my family as his own
  19. Knows how to do simple household repairs
  20. Must love ice cream
  21. Will do devotions as a couple nightly
  22. Likes to play games
  23. Loves watching movies

These are a little over half of the ones that I am willing to share. I looked at this list, tried to read it to my friend, and just began to cry. I was 15 years old when I wrote these. God knew what I wanted and needed, and gave me that and MORE! Nathan is all of these and SO MUCH MORE.
I cannot even begin to thank God enough for My Amazing Fiancé! Thank you God for giving me what I wanted and needed!
